Great first official working bee with Ben, the new coordinator of the Tuckers Rock site this morning! We focussed on pulling senna and liberating the hoards of native seedlings underneath. I didn’t think to get any photos of us, but here’s a link to a shrub, of which we saw only one specimen. Ben’s gone home to get the ID books, but if you know it well maybe you can help us out. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/327174346
You’re very welcome to join us each Wednesday from 8:30, meeting at the Tuckers Rock carpark. If you’re late just wander down the track to the south and give a cooee. There is enough shade to make it very pleasant, and its perfect weather for a swim after too! For the working bee, long sleeves, pants hat and solid shoes are needed. We have tools to lend.
