The Targeted Landcare Grants are delivered via the North Coast Local Land Services to the Landcare Networks to help us provide incentive funds to those landholders who are actively engaged in managing their property to improve the condition. Activities can include supplementary weed control and planting of native vegetation, fencing to protect vulnerable riparian areas or in some cases Site Action Plans for the property in question to assist with applying for funding to implement recommended actions. Recipients of this grant can usually demonstrate previous efforts to undertake works and a commitment to maintain any funded works for a minimum of 5 years.
